Jyotsna Pothukuchi is an education specialist with over 20 years of experience in the field of Education. She held highly responsible positions in Curriculum development, Educational administration, Coordination, Teacher training and teaching in the USA and India with an excellent grasp over curricula of IB, IGCSE, American and the Indian CBSE.
Her educational leadership experience includes school development, research and resource identification, teacher selections, timetabling, academic delivery, assessments, planning and implementing curriculum, orienting and training teachers to deliver the curriculum and develop their creative abilities through Professional Development sessions. She has been previously instrumental in developing US centric academic material for her school in India.
As an educator she taught K-12 ESL, English Literature and Theory of Knowledge with high recognitions for her innovative teaching methods, and student achievements where many of her students have attained perfect scores in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program, and attended prestigious Universities of Stanford, Brown, Columbia and London School of Economics. She is an IB and Cambridge international Examiner.
Jyotsna is a workshop leader on Active learning and English Second Language learning, mentoring teachers to identify and support students through various teaching methods. She is a certified TEFL specialist from USA and has taught and mentored several Korean and Chinese students.
Her passion lies in choosing creative and challenging positions that help her contribute, innovate and create value in the field of School education. She has successfully trained students to perform Shakespearean plays, led students in various international competitions in Singapore and across India, conducted and organized student initiatives for environmental causes and promoted student leadership with a strong social awareness.
